I want to migrate a simple HTML sites with folders to a free hosting service with free domain name, I tried Google Site but it does not allow upload of HTML files, since I've few hundred of HTML pages it is impractical to copy and paste each of them to Google, wonder if there is such free service available that allow HTML upload, I only need few GB of space for personal use, thanks !

Why free of charge sites only? There are always severe limitations and usually very severe disadvantages with that approach.
You can get a VPS for less than 2 EUR per month if you look around, though the domain must be done separately at a respectable registrar. A respectable registrar will cost you a bit per year but having it separate is essential to prevent the VPS provider from holding your site hostage, should they be dodgy or turn that way after a while. Either way, it is probably safer than the most of the "free" services out there.

Yes I know, since my host got hacked few years back I decided not to get another one, as I am only sharing files with friends nothing really important and not commercial, and I tried Google and it does not allow upload of HTML where I created for the old website, so that I look for similar replacement.
