looking for Bulletin Board
 

Hi,

I am looking for a good free Bulletin Board for my website that does not require MySQL or MS access support and is easy to install and configure

Can anyone suggest me one ?

No, I don't have any DB support in my hosting plan so I am looking for some cgi or perl based boards

Try doing a search on BBS or Bulletin Board Systems instead of Forum style boards.. Your probably only going to find mailing list style boards or you could just try to use mailman, which keeps an archive of email browseable by any internet browser, but the users mainly use email to exchange questions and answers.

The perl-based YaBB forum doesn't require a full DB support, I think. It's a bit more difficult to install than a PHP based forum, but it doesn't absolutely require an SQL style DB. It can also work on a flat-file based DB model. You could try using that.

I remember TAUniverse.com using UltimateBB back in the day, which eventually mangled all the html thread pages after excessive (ab)use. :)
