Depends if the filesystem was... let's say born with copyright protection embedded into the filesystem, you would be circumventing a copyright protection - And that would be illegal regardless of your intentions to read your own files on your own computer... That is if I've understood the "millennium act", correctly.
- Anyone heard of the "This email will self destruct in five seconds..." scheme hailed as a fantastic new security incentive... that'll make legal investigations into cybercrimes and corporate scandals soooooooo much easier... don't you think?
