most hours was somewhat about 50 hours or so... it was at student camp, and the organisation claimed the bar would be open 24 hours a day, we just had to verify that of course... MANY beers later we had to admit they where really open 24 hours a day... longest time while trying to repair a computer was around 40 hours straight, lived on apple pie, chocolate and coffee (MUCH coffee) that night at the end of the long run we threw the pc out of the window deciding it wasn't worth repairing anyway

greetz,

Very common: 40-50 hours

Many times: 65 hours(+ - 5)

Rarely but...: 8/9 days

Without drugs. Most of those hours in front of my monitor.

One thinbg that bothers me more than disturbed sleep patterns is the burning sensation in the eyes. I mean,

a) my eyes turn red
b) can't close my eyes shut(after 7 days)
c) no amount of water/ice cools them down

If this happens to me without drugs, don't know what wud happen with drugs Would someone care to test and let me know

the longest I have stayed up working on a computer was three days and that was trying to get Nix to recognize my Linksys wireless card

but the longest I have stayed up period was two close to three weeks working at my local movie theater, I would work like 14 hour days for like two or three weeks straight and after a long shift I just wouldn't be tired so I wouldn't sleep or I'd go out to party with my friends from work, they did drugs but I didn't

trust me the hallucinations were bad that second week, I swear to this day that this Tigger cut out moved and tried to hit me.

I've never had hallucinations for staying up long/many days. And trust me, from what I hear, I am not complaining.

48 hours: I work graveyard shifts and I was required to go to a class the next day for a promotion and a meeting on top of that after the class had ended.

About 2 days. The first night was fuelled by amphetamine and the second by LSD. It's cheating, I know. How all you lot did it for so long without chemical assistance is beyond me.

When I started 36 hour days of watch here I stayed up for about 70 hours straight because I'd be excited to finally have some liberty so I wouldn't be able to sleep and then came watch again... ah....

Probably about 40ish hours. Usually during caffeine-powered LAN parties.

Only hallucination I can remember (wasn't even mine) was after a group of us were up for like 3 or 4 days and my friends gf thought he was talking to this guy about selling her into slavery. She took off running and it took another like 2 more days to find her and tell her she just imagined it. At least I'm about 97% sure she imagined it, maybe 94%.
