Linux jobs

I just started a thread on here and got told off by a moderator... so i better be a little nit more careful about what i say.

Does anyone know the names of any good linux job forums or places where linux developers can be told about job opportunities in their field...

MODS... I am not trying to advertise jobs, I am just asking if anyone knows where a good forum is to tell people about Linux jobs

Thats fine as your other thread did come off as advertising. But in the future, try to place your threads in the most proper forum. This is a non-technical question and belongs in General, not Linux - General. It has been moved accordingly at this time.

Regards.

PS. Also in the future, email a moderator if you feel the need to discuss a closed topic or such, etc. We could have reopened your other thread and allowed you to edit, etc instead of creating a new thread.

I've tried all the big job boards (monster, careerbuilder, hotjobs, etc) and never had much luck. Most of my jobs have came from people I know or the local paper.
Finding a job depends on your area too. It helps to know who in your area utilizes Linux so you can check their openings. My boss was hiring a Linux support operator and one of the first things he did was search for Linux in the resume. If you are applying for a job at least have somewhere in your resume something that indicates that you know something about Linux.

If you open a Linux jobs forum, be prepared for a lot of traffic...

I hope the server service is designed to handle the traffic...
