Linux Format Linux Awards 2001 - vote now
As well as the LQ awards there are the LF awards going, with Linux Questions in the nomination for Best Support Resource. We all know that every one says its so nice to be nominated, and that winning isn't everything.........well what rubbish :)
Actually, it is a great feat to be nominated but those of you who want to support the site can get on down to www.linuxformat.co.uk where you can vote for LQ and what ever else you want to in a number of topics. Polling closes March 4th so no need to rush! Also, no need to vote for the site if you don't want to, but it would be nice if Linux Format get loads of voters to get the truest thoughts of the Linux world! Later |
Thanks for the heads up CragStar. Feel free to vote everyone.

Thank you for all of your hard work Jeremy and am happy you made the nominee list! There's no competition! ;) My vote just went in and hope you win for all the trouble you go through for us!

Done...and quanta got my vote for best dev tool :)
|
got my vote... didn't see any others that compete with this site though.. :D
|
me too
|
Done and dusted. I couldn't see any other contenders, though. I mean, the LDP is great, but you can't exactly post there and say 'Erm, I can't get this to work' - they'd just say RTFHT (that is, read the ****ing how-to).
Does anyone know when the poll closes, or more importantly, when the results are out? |
RTFFP!
:D |
Yeah, I RTFFP and it says that polling finished on 4th March. What about the results? I wanna know if we won, God damn it :D (not that there's really much competition).

Done... got my vote...
