Question Linux for ASUS Eee 701


I am looking to buy an Asus 701. Is the supplied linux ok or is there a better distribution for a linux newbie?

For a beginner the installed Xandros OS is probably ideal. It is very easy to use, quick, and comes with most software people would want.

Personally, I found it nauseatingly simplistic, but my wife loved it.

Xandros is fine it works.
