Lest we forget

I included this in a post in another thread, but thought it deserved its own mention.

It's easy when we get busy, especially when we're isolated as we are this year, to forget... so for those of us in countries observing Remberance Day, Jour du Souvenir, Veterans Day, or whatever you call it in your language, if you haven't taken a moment to observe it yet, it's never too late to do so.

Lest we forget.

We should never forget those, in any Democratic country, that have served their country well, and be thankful for the blessings of their sacrifice.

In the United States, may God bless those that we remember on Veterans Day who gave their time for the service of America. May God bless those families who lost a dear loved one in the duty for America.

The freedoms we cherish are not cheap; they cost a lot. And, the cost, in my eyes, is worth the sacrifice.

As long as we don't glorify but educate... end opinions!
