Legal sources of media files (pictures / videos / music )

Next week I'm going to deliver some computer sessions in a college. The students will be required to download some audio clips/short videos/pictures for the purposes of our session. I'm just wondering where I could take the media from. It has to be free and legal to download for non-commercial purposes. Obviously it also can't be a website containing some NSFW material.

Any ideas

Thanks

I would start here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ and pick the licence that covers your needs. Then do a search for "audio <licence type>". I believe that Flickr is a good source for pictures that are available legally for no cost.

You can also check www.jamendo.com. It has music licensed under different variants of the Creative Commons. Most of the content there is SFW, except for a few ones.
