Layoffs at Valve

It seems that a number of people recently had their status changed from "working at Valve" to "not working at Valve."

I'm linking to Engadget because it's the primary source. However, it's rather disappointing to see so many "Valve deserves it for having said unflattering things about Windows 8!" comments under the story.
