kioslaves documentation: where to find it?

I'd like to learn more about kioslaves, but I can only find the odd reference to a few of them.

Is there a reference of some sort which details the kioslaves currently available in Kde?

I't surprised that such a usefull tool doesn't have dedicated documentation more prominently advertised.

there is limited documentation in kinfocenter (type it in a console) but it dose list every installed KIO slave under protocols
