Just make it boot right *sigh*

Just as the subject states, but it's a compact flash drive.

I am testing different distrobutions on a small ebox (no cdrom). So before the Christmas break all was well, but I guess it was 2 much eggnogg, but I can't get this to boot anymore. Baicaslly I have different distro's (the cd iso) and I would format the flash drive (seen as an IDE) copy over the files and it would work.

I have the HP USB utility which formats it correctly, but can't get a 'bootable' type thing to work. Tried prob 10 different ways with syslinux -ma, etc. I had an old makeboot file which worked but booted in a dos mode so it would not start the CD. Pendrivelinux.com has some great things, but can't get that one simple, Oh, just do this!

I have access to both linux and windows machines, so if someone has a few sec's to just send over a reply, as right now I don't have much hair left from pulling it all out! I know I will kick myself after I fix it (and write it down)

Tnx all
