Geez _blackhole, my very first words you quoted "Unless I misunderstand your words, it seems.." should act as a qualifier and expression of less than a firm conclusion, let alone putting words in your mouth. It was interpretation, reading between the lines and I essentially said so, I think.

It is possible I leaned too heavily on "enemy evidence" but that could be because this is a continuation of a very long standing and contentious dialogue between sundialsvcs and I. Then again, as I stated, by itself it may not be particularly compelling but 100% agreement between those on one side and those on the other, both with vested and opposing interests, I do find compelling. Nevertheless, the laser reflectors was major evidence back when "MythBusters" was still on the air and remains so, but now orbiting moon satellite photos are likely the most compelling. and were mentioned here.

If I did in fact misunderstand and offend you, you have my sincere apology. I tried to cover that at the outset.

A lot going on in 'space' for the last couple of days. Noteworthy accomplishments by China and Russia.

On June 1, the two-day flight was completed and for about the next six months the station will become home to the Progress MS-27 space truck. It delivered about 2.5 tons of cargo into orbit, including drinking water, fuel, food, nitrogen and scientific equipment." https://x.com/Us48434Anna/status/1797163825675813067

"China's Chang'e 6 ascender separated from the lander and lifted off from the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the moon at 7:38 a.m. Beijing Time on June 4," CNSA said in a statement. "It is carrying lunar samples gathered during the past two days. After about six minutes, it entered the targeted orbit and will begin several orbital maneuvers in the next step of the process."

The samples will be snagged from orbit by the Chang'e 6 orbiter, which remained in space around the moon after the ascender rocket departed from it for landing, carrying the Chang'e 6 lander to the lunar surface. If this operation goes according to plan, the sample canister will be parachuted back to Earth on June 25." https://www.space.com/chang-e-6-chin...n-orbit-images
