IT Budget/Project Funding (Virtualization)
Hey folks, I was wondering, how are your IT budgets till the end of the year and if you are able to get projects approved for funding, and what trick (if any) do you use to get projects funded. We are having tough time to get our projects off the ground. Any advice will be appreciated

Not sure what kind of answers you're looking for, but all of what you mention, greatly depends on your environment. What industry? What size company? What do you want to accomplish?
And what does this have to do with the Suse/Novell distribution? This would be a better question for the "General" forum.....

My corporation is evil and evil has unlimited resources. And moved to the (slightly less evil) General forum.

Generally speaking ( ), I am presently unfunded. My contract ran out of $$$ and I am eagerly awaiting funding for the next fiscal year. Since I am an independent, this means that presently I am not making money on this job.
So now I have my eye on another contract with another corporation. This is a satellite communications job and might be very cool. We will see. In the meanwhile, I am rewriting my commercial software package.
