It's not April 1st yet but...

I don't usually post links but I had to share this. I've been chortling over it for the last five minutes. And God knows we all need something to cheer us up in all this panic.

The Virutians hate us for our freedoms. And toilet paper.

The toilet paper thing is what really puzzles me. What do people need so much for? Now if it was a rotavirus epidemic....

The toilet paper hoarding probably has to do with old jokes on the net about post-apocalyptic society consisting for a while, before vanishing completely, of roving bands of brigands driving internal combustion vehicles around and fighting over the women and the last of the toilet paper. That would be my guess.

If it were a noro virus then that would be a different matter.

I remember there was an addon that could automatically hide all of those cookie and privacy notice stuff that nobody ever reads and the first link in Google brought me to this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-about-cookies and it looks that it works - kinda, the window is still shown but it's closed automatically after less than a second.

A psychologist discusses the toilet paper hoarding at Boston.com, which is affiliated with the Boston Globe.

Judging from the headlines I've seen at websites of established and reputable newspapers across the U. S.--that's how I get my news--it's a widespread phenomenon. I ran out the our nearest supermarket to get some cat food yesterday (the cats must be obeyed), and its "bathroom tissue" shelves were as bare as the Mojave. My girlfriend stopped by there today and it was the same.

I think the blood is for signing the contract to surrender your firstborn.

Thanks for the link, but it looks like it works by clicking "OK" for you.

It probably does but it's ok. You can never know if pressing NOT OK makes any difference for them because they don't show the source code.
