isp blocked port 25

hi,

im at an end trying to sort this out my self! my isp has blocked port 25, and you can probably guess the rest but hear i go any way. i need port 25 open for my mail server, what i was woundering does any body know any good port reflecting services so mail is sent to another server which then sends it to my server on a diffrent port like port 26 for example.

i will be very greatfull for any help but please dont sjest changing ISP as i cant! long story but if you live in hull (England) you will know why!

Why dont you mail your ISP and request that the port be unblocked or have your account transfered from pop3 mail to SMTP.

My own ISP, plus.net (also UK & English based) offers this service free of charge so I dont see why others would charge to do it.

i live in hull, and we have our own telephone company called Kingston comuniations, they are a lot like microsoft! because if you live in hull they will not allow you to have a diffrent ISP or have BT as your phone provider. not only this but the help line is usless i usualy tell them what to do as they dont ever have a clue of what to do, when i do e-mail them i get a e-mail back that has noting to do with the one i sent them! when i ask why they have blocked port 25 they say they havent but when i ask them to unblock it they refuse to unblock it and say it is a security risk.

all in all i hate my isp for those reasons and a hell of a lot others to, that is what i ment that anybody who lives in Hull will understand!

thanks any way but with my ISP i dont stand a chance
