Is Morpheus Legal ?

Frankly, i have downloaded 1GB of songs with morpheus, so, why buy original CD?

Is this legal act? Why Morpheus is allowed to exist?

In my familiarity with applications lie morpheus and limewire, they protect themselves from legal action by claiming that they do not endorse illegal p2p (peer to peer) file sharing. That's why no one takes action against them. On the flipside, downloading licensed material without express consent of the author is still illegal. With the extremely low price of napster...i would just by a subscription to napster...it's very cheap, especially in comparison to iTunes.

Depends on the laws in your country. It is legal where I live though it is illegal to upload songs (bittorrent) without paying licenses.

Morpheus is legal. Downloading copyrighted material without obtaining the permission of the coyright holders is not.

Please do not implicate us in your illegal acts.

Is downloading music for free illegal? Absolutely.

Is writing a program that allows somebody to share files with others? Absolutely not.

Frankly, your attitude towards stealing things sucks. I'm closing this post and moving it to General.
