Oh I agree you can see REDMOND finger prints allover this crap.
It was not enough for them to screw IBM on OS2-- Noooooo Now they are giving SCO a little fish to eat to scare the hell out of people in using Linux. Linus has said" if there is illegal code of which I am unaware of we will rewrite it and go on" SCO is a dieing Dinosour- M$ is next. If you look at the crap they keep pumping out up there it stinks all the way to New York. I mean look at my futule attemp to keep my users from downloading anything they want on the net..... That is security?? Linux will come out looking better and be better when this is over. IBM will crush SCO. Don't be surprise to see Novell jump on this with IBM in hopes of helping there situation out. Not sure how though Linux does not need Novell- Unless the thought is that they can offer better networking for exsiting Windows Networks at a cheaper cost somehow?? Well that my 2cents worth.
