The FCC dismissed all the evidence and closed the inquiry in December 2019, arguing that there was no evidence that wireless technology caused any harm and there was no need to review any of its guidelines regarding radiofrequency exposure limits.
“The vast majority of filings were unscientific, and even the filings that sought to present scientific evidence failed to make a persuasive case for revising our existing radiofrequency limits,” declared the FCC in a resolution following the shutdown of its own inquiry.
...
Do you have evidence to prove the FCC is wrong in the above?
Love to see some actual evidence that categorically supports 5G "being harmful", rather than just yet more nutcase conspiracy theories...
Of course 5G is harmful! It's going to encourage people to spend even more time online because they can download things faster. Eventually they'll have no real life at all.
There have been studies dating back many years mostly studying the affects of RF energy and the brain. The main reason is that the phone is closest to the body when held up to the ear.
As far as I know there has not been any conclusive evidence that cell phones cause brain cancer.
The higher the frequency the lower the power required to penetrate the skull.
long term exposure to high power RF energy is unhealthily but cell phones are not high power.
5G technology uses higher frequencies than 4G so yes in some ways your heating your brain faster but that does not mean it is unhealthy. Unfortunately I don't think there is enough information to determine long term health issues. The main factor is exposure time. RF power drops as the square of the distance so using your phone with a corded headset is the safest but for males don't keep your phone in your pants pocket unless your wearing lead underwear and for women do not put your phone in your bras if there is enough "space" just in case.
There is even some worry that Bluetooth headphones and earbuds are also unhealthy since it uses 2.4GHz frequencies but the power level is much lower.
cell phones have not been around comparatively enough to really see long term health affects I don't think.
I am a amateur radio operator and worked with communications equipment for many years. In a few situations I had to wear a RF monitor per OSHA on the job so I have a bit of experience.
As Hazel posted the social and psychological affects are probably more hazardous then the physical.
The time will come when science will find out that all the wireless data (just imagine how much of it there is at any given time in any place) has some effect on the environment, including humans.
That's just common sense. And nothing new.
Saying 5G is significantly different/worse than anything before is a conspiration yarn.
When I read this thread my little dog wandered around and attempted to piddle on my toe. Has this any significance? I think it was 5G related. I can provide a picture of my dog as a proof.
How is that, look at all the brain damage previous generations of cell phones have done. You think even more is possible?
I simply find the mindset of doing whatever crazy because we only tend to live about 50-100ish years and don't have to live with the fallout quite bad.
And I tend to use "we're all gonna die anyway" as an argument myself, just not for anything negative.
From my standpoint it's "We're not saving anyone ultimately since we're still mortal, so no need to make the world a shithouse to eke out a little bit of comfort".
Ummm guys...It isn't like holding a cellphone close to your head dramatically increases the RF field at your brain. It's there whether you receive it or not. Transmission from your phone can increase it some but the power and period are very small individually. IMHO You should be much more concerned about radiation from our Sun and considering Ozone filtration losses.
