iRiver iHP-120 20GB MP3 Player, a player for the rest of us ?

Finally a player for all of us who like to encode in ogg vorbis :

This device plays oggvorbis and being a usb mass storage device, doesn't require any specific windows software and is apparently happy with mu3 playlists......

That's how I found out

One the reviewers confirms he can mount the disk on his linux box.

Yup, that's how I load mine, I don't get the fancy playlist stuff that I guess that I would if I was running it from Windows (don't care), and it has USB 2.0 so it's pretty quick.

Store *any* type of file so it doubles as an external HD. :)

Relatively small, on the order of an iPod.

Sounds great.

About the only bad thing that I say about it that is has a really strange interface. Still learning the darn thing. And that the buttons are a wee bit small for my “Andre the Giant” sized hands.

Very happy with mine :)
