when i install cygwin there wasn't problem but when i install ns2 there was message that "gcc path not on your system" and the installion failed. at the 1 time i used ns2 ver 2.33 but then i tried to use ns2 ver 2.29 but still doesn't work, with same error report. so,if someone know how to install ns2 in xp please help me. and i would like to know to install ns2 in linux too. i use dual boot, windows and mandriva 2007 free edition.but i'm very new in this os,so..help me......pliz |
Welcome to LQ.
For windows the "ns-allinone" is recommended. http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ns-build.html http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php...P_Using_Cygwin You will of course have to install the "gcc for Cygwin" first. 'gcc' is the compiler used to build 'ns'. Finding information : Google .. ns-2 .. Good luck. |
