IE8/IE9 sucks !!!

It sucks, the webpage can't be displayed, it flickers and stalled.
ieframe.dll errors.
I uninstall all addons, toolbars, reset IE original settings and the problem persists.
I have to use other browser to surf.
This happened after I installed IE 9 beta in windows 7.

I had never seen something so screwed up, how can microsoft create this type of product? Furthermore MS boast the improvement of IE 9, it can't even display a webpage, this is sucks!!!!!

IE9 is another MS attempt to marginalize the web, and say "see you need a big fat bloated OS to browse the web". IMHO.

This relates to GNU/Linux and how?

Should be moved to General.

I get pissed off by IE, wasted 5 hours to search for solution in internet and tried many solutions but none work!

thorkelljarl 10-31-2010 08:12 AM

If something tells you that you need IE...

I believe that it is possible to configure Firefox so that it appears to websites as if it were Internet Explorer.

This is more likely a thread for the General forum, at least dissatisfaction with IE be seems to be general enough.

brianL 10-31-2010 08:28 AM

There is a User Agent Switcher add-on for Firefox, that's supposed to fool sites into believing you're using IE.

First, who cares, Iceweasel works just fine on my Debian.

Second,

what did you expect? It is a beta, which means it is known to have bugs, so what is your point here?

mlangdn 10-31-2010 08:40 AM

My suggestion would be to use something that works.
Also, stay away from beta software - complaining here won't do the software developers any good. I doubt they read Linux - Newbie.

TigerLinux 10-31-2010 10:11 AM

probably due to virus, found trojan in system32 folder

Simple solution, use Linux. No virus, no IE.

And the problem was solved after you removed trojan in system32 folder ?
As told before, it's "beta software", so get over it.
I really don't see the point of this post.

Kind regards

TigerLinux 10-31-2010 11:54 AM

problem unsolved, not due to trojan.
it really does not work, the whole IE 9 collapsed.
I uninstalled IE9 and restored back to IE8, same problem persists,
and windows 7 can't install IE7.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in <GENERAL> and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

And that's a Linux question HOW? :/

mirchichamu 10-31-2010 01:23 PM

I don't find any reason to use IE when we have more better choices like firefox, chrome and opera.I never used IE except to update my windows.

TigerLinux 10-31-2010 09:09 PM
