I've a wooden TV here, from the 70's I think. I was going to trow it away, but I will hold it. Maybe wooden stuff will get popular again and I can earn some cash with that
If that TV is still in (more or less) good working condition , you might be able to sell it to a collector.
There are people out there , that collect stuff like that.
The stuff on that site is REAL wood.(And by their own claims environmentally sound as well.)
The stone stuff is actually "corian(tm)" ; a composite of ground natural stone , stuck together with some polymeres under high pressure , to resemble the "real stuff" (which it actually is , in a way"
This kind of "Stone" is also known as "Recomposite" ; Often used for "marble" and "granite" tiles.
It's a way of puting the "wasteproducts" of *real* natural stone products to good use.
Oh , and :

You know what I like to collect? Long Play disks. I love it, love it, love it .
BROTHER!
I have about two meters(tightly packed) of 'em.(About 30cm of that is filled with (shaped) Picture-Discs...)
And still play them as well ; Analogue recordings do have *so* much more dynamics than that crappy digital stuff....
