I have coded a website that searches Google WAY FASTER than Google.com for you!

Not sure if this is where i'm supposed to post something like this but.. I've just finished a site which allows you to search Google.com ONKEYPRESS

It also provides results from Wolfram Alpha, Twitter, and many other sites all at once. I thought it might be useful for many people, so enjoy!

Site: [MODERATED]
If you prefer only google: [MODERATED]
Screenshots: [MODERATED]

I've also updated Images so it displays Google Images alongside Flickr images. And YouTube/Hulu/Vimeo videos alongside Google Videos

or just use the tabs up top

There's also a browser plugin.. just click the top right green button

Tell me if you find any bugs too. Thanks!

That's pretty cool. No hitting enter.

First link doesn't work and the second goes into an infinite refresh loop for me.

If you do a search with several search terms, say
Code:
this that theother
and you decide that you want to delete out or modify the final term, it gets rather obstructive.

This has been posted before and it's still a lie, I searched 'test' in both:

heapr:
Results 1 - 8 of 61,700,000 for test. (0.14 seconds)

google:
Results 1 - 10 of about 618,000,000 for test [definition]. (0.14 seconds)

Also, many people type fast enough for it to not be able to keep up - I was at the end of my search string before it loaded the page and by that time I may as well have just pressed enter anyway!
Nice idea but not sure how functional it is.

Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.

Even if posted under a new username, this is still a violation of LQ rules. Reported
