What really gets me is when
Slashdot carry Microsoft ads. For those who don't know, Slashdot is a very vehement pro-linux tech news site, who have a reputation for instantly hating anything MS are involved with.
On /., the MS ads are very definately ironic.
In general, I don't think boycott tactics (as the article mentions) or censoring pro-MS ads are a good idea. Anyone with some tech knowhow understands the pros and cons of Linux vs. Windows, and anyone with any common sense knows never to trust advertising.
(PS - I saw Harry Potter atPoA last night -- it was fun. This fact is not at all relevent to the discussion, I just wanted to show off
