I didn't watch the superbowl

Just saying, I'm know I'm in the minority. However I'm wondering if anyone can claim this?

I join you. The corruption and venality of big time USA football, both NFL and NCAA, has driven me away.

I used to enjoy watching bowl games on New Years Day and NFL playoffs in January, even if I didn't have a particular team that I was rooting for.

No more.

There is bright side: Pitchers and catchers report next week.

(That's USA Major League Baseball for those outside the Major League Baseball co-prosperity sphere. Go Phillies!)

Yes, I can. I'm not really a sports fan. ;)

Regards...

I didn't watch it either

m.a.l.'s pa 02-09-2016 12:57 AM

I watched some of it. Lost interest by halftime. I used to be heavy into sports, that was my world. Now, it's like there's only so many hours in the day, I don't wanna waste 'em anymore sitting in front of the tube watching a game.

I honestly believe all sports are fixed at some or all levels.

Would you let a multi-billion dollar business go to chance?

I was listening to talk radio and heard an interview by a person by the name of Brian Tuohy

I didn't watch it, although I was in the same room talking to someone who was half watching, and we were laughing at football minutes and the Post-Game Show and the commentary on the game, which are all unnecessary.

camorri 02-09-2016 08:24 AM

Well, I watched it, now wished I hadn't wasted my time. It was a commercial with a little football mixed in.

I walked out on the half time show. I turned it off with 10 minutes in the 4th quarter, not caring who won or what the score was. Championships should be a great show. This one wasn't. From officials that don't seem to know the rules, to dumb ass announcers ( I keep the sound way down ) show seem to think the audience is as dumber than themselves...

No more supper bowl for me.

vmccord 02-09-2016 08:53 AM

I didn't watch it either. My daughter and I watched all the commercials from it last night. Some are seriously weird.

sundialsvcs 02-09-2016 09:21 AM

Ditto. I don't even know what the score was; nor do I care.

A big distraction.

Emerson 02-09-2016 12:57 PM

Never figured out this American Football thing, where I come from football is played using feet.
