What's to stop someone from buying a copy of SuSe, Xandros or whatever, changing a few things and selling or distributing it as their own? It must be something but I can't figure it out! Been wondering that for a while now. Obviously, if it were possible, someone would do it I would guess.

Read the GNU public license - it protects it.
