How to play flv in internet explorer

Hi All,
could anybody tell me how i can play a flv movie (which is made using ffmpeg)in internet explorer
can anybody give me the code so that i can play it in internet explorer
this is not necessary that it plays in internet explorer,but i want to also play in firefox etc

do you really mean internet explorer on MS windows?

this is linux questions don't forget....

i believe the "windows media player" will automatically play mpeg content when using IE.... although you may have to update it take advantage of the later codecs (media player 10, i think).

my flv file is playing well in flash player but while i tried in browser(IE,firefox) this is unable to play
