I would just download the driver but the computer is so goddang old that I couldn't track down even the hardware anymore, not to mention its an onboard audio jack so Everest can't tell me what exaztally it is (some old Intel SoundMax, if there's an Easyer generic).
In short, is it possible to get a driver from ME onto 98 and how do I do it,
me too old pc's. It is cheap and you can give those pre-installed to poor people. (over organization).
If Qemu, it works better to install with win 95 rather than win 98.
MS office 97 works fine over qemu, and you will avoid few troubles with ms office 2000.
So, about ME, it is indeed not great sometimes. I have also a soundmax, but I remember (if well) that I ran it in windows 95. You have also the mpu-401? This one shall be also installed (considered) during install.
