How to mark a thread as solved?

How can i mark a thread as solved? Is there such an option? Can't find it.

nope, just reply saying so. A feature like that is messy as it requires huge amounts of maintenance if it's used as a reliable indicator of a threads status. the significant majority of threads would never get tagged as such regardless of outcome.

To add what acid_kewpie said, you can also list the steps on how you solved the problem that way anyone with a similar problem can follow your
steps.

Yeah, you gotta hate the "I solved it, thanks." simple posts some people give. I try to at least hint at the solution, whether it's "I tried what you said and it works", or here's a list of steps I had to take to make it work. Definitely helps a lot.
