How to install lucene ?

Ok I want to install lucene on windows.

I have downloaded lucene1.5.jar and demo1.3.jar files and I have also installed tomcat. Now What shud I do ?

Install java runtime (j2re) (do a google to find the download page) and double click on the files, that should work, i guess.

Na buddy, it is just a jar file. I have to put is somewhere but I don't know where ?
