That's not very promising.

Did you try Simon the lead dev. at Lubuntu? Although, that would contribute to Lubuntu and not necessarily LXQt/LXDE.

No I didn't try Simeon because I'd like to stay with LXQT/LXDE.

I'll see what happens this week:-

It's now been 2 weeks and I haven't gotten a response from anyone.
I don't think that this is going anywhere:-

have a look at this page, sidebar => Links => Maintainers.

also, did you post to http://forum.lxde.org/ ?
probably no maintainers/devs there either, but you would surely have gotten some reply.

also, i don't think 2 weeks is very long.
after all it's not a security issue or a bug or something that needs fixing.

Thanks for the link to the Debian page and etc.

No, I haven't registered to post at the lxde.org forum because I honestly don't think it will yield anything.

In an attempt to write to one of the Maintainers on the page you linked I was not able to send Andrew Lee an e-mail.
The program prompted me for an Outgoing Server address. I'm not on a server.
Any ideas on how to get around that?

no idea.
are you just clicking on the link?
maybe copy the email address and manually compose an email instead?

Yeah, just clicking on the link and upon doing so it opens to what looks like the Wizard Account Setup Mgr for Thunderbird.

I haven't been able to fix the issue with it so I'll just use my gmail account to write to Mr.Lee and send the Debian LXDE Maintainers a e-mail as well.

It's my hope that the maintainers will consider my work ondoho and I hope it pays off. We shall see.
Giving back to the Linux Community is a good thing.

Emails composed and sent.

I sent one to Mr. Lee and one to the Debian LXDE Maintainers.

Great news!

Mr. Lee answered me in an e-mail.

He told me to submit my designs to him and he will decide from there.
I e-mailed him back to explain I'll be drawling up some designs over the next several days and when finished I'll send them to him.

If I have time and photobucket is still up and running I'll post my designs.

The paintings and the sketches were photographed with my Android tablet.
Most of the paintings and sketches are way to big and my scanner (stand size of a piece of paper) isn't big enough to scan the whole piece of art.

I went to the IRC channel twice and put in several questions. Didn't get a response.

I'm in the process of finishing up the designs I'll be sending to Mr. Lee.
Once he has the designs I'll let you know what he says.

Some of those IRC channels are slow and people live in different countries. You may need to stay logged in and wait for someone to answer your questions. Just a thought!
