Dear jgambler@shaw.ca, if you have a problem, please post it in a seperate thread in one of the other forums, and provide more information. What did you do before the icons disappeared, for example. And what desktop environment are you running?
Don't answer here. Post a thread in another forum if you want help.

16-year-old (17 in a few days) American male from MD. As a guitarist/metalhead I'm probably in the minority here...

You'd be surprised

Although I'm not a reaaaal metalhead, Powermetal and Melodic metal are 2 of my favourite genres.

And I play guitar. Used to play guitar. It's been awhile

I like some power metal/melodic metal too (like Iron Maiden and Firewind), but I'm more into Scandanavian death metal, like In Flames, At the Gates, Soilwork, Children of Bodom (of course), Imperanon, etc. and so-called "Thrash metal" (early Metallica, Testament, Anthrax).

I bought the latest In Flames album. It's good
I don't know many of the other groups (except for Children of Bodom and Metallica) but I don't listen to that style of metal much
