Has anyone purchased a Dell/Ubuntu PC yet?

Ordered a 1505n May-26 to be shipped June-8. I received a backorder notice June-8 instead. Hope this is an indication of how overwhelming the Dell offering is going. Does anyone have some stats on this?

My *guess* is that any delays are due to the fact that this is a brand new product, and that they are still working out any kinks in their assembly process. Again, just a guess.

Please post back with updates and/or when the new Dell Linux PC arrives. No doubt there are a lot of folks who may be seriously considering buying a similar model, so any info you can share will be much appreciated

dell, laptop, ubuntu
