Hardware wars???

Gentlemen

I have been absent for some time, but my hardware addiction is getting worse.

Some time ago, I was compared to Finegan and his clockwatching farm as a hardware addict, I think I am worse now.

Current systems..

Dual athlon MP2800 - running fedora
FX51 with full on expensive PC3500 RAM - WIn XP (sorry, but at least it's 64 bit beta!)
Dual Xeon 2.4 - fedora again
Sun Enterprise 450 - Debian Sparc
Laptop - dinky sharp transmeta - winXP again (sorry)

Just bought a Sun enterprise 3000 off eBay

So who has more, wants more, or is madder, and when you reveal yourself, why aren't you crunching SETI for LQ?

Jim

If you want to feel better about yourself, and take the first step to kicking your addiction, you can send me any of the first three you listed.

I have more systems, but none anywhere near as good. My top dog is my Athlon XP Mobile 1600+ laptop. Then they drop down to a P!!! 733, a P!!! 500, a PII 400, a few P-MMX 233, and a handful of P1 100-200. This year, I've recycled anything less than a P1 100. I get leftovers, surplus, and hand-me-downs from everywhere.

I seem to remember an old HBO short called Hardware Wars. Fluke Starbucker , and Han Solo flew an Iron.
