Well, you do realize that you can easily have eggnog without rum, right? That's what I did.

Huh? What does that have to do with anything? We don't even have eggnog! Or rum! And of course I know that.

Okay, fine. It's just that there are so many alternatives to alcoholic beverages out there.

Dude I feel sorry for you...I was on a couple different meds before (I'm not taking any now), and they basically just numbed me emotionally. Couldn't really feel much of anything. It was mainly for anger management problems that I was having (and probably still have, but to a much lesser extent than back then); any time I would want to get angry, I just couldn't. It was like flipping a lightswitch without turning anything on, or lighting a spark to something flammable without it catching fire.

I bet if I went in to see a psychiatrist or something they'd wanna drug me (seems like that's what they usually want to do, innit? ), but I'm against that now for more reasons than just not being able to feel very strongly.

Anyways, back on-topic: Hope everyone had a happy new year! We didn't do much over here; mostly just had drinks (my mom and her fiancé had champagne, I just had sparkling cider ) and watched the ball drop for the countdown. No big party or anything.

Same here. I'm on 1˝ milligrams of Risperidone and 0.1 milligram of Clonidine, and that combination just puts me out like a light. Good thing I didn't take any of the medications until 11:00 at night last night, or I wouldn't have been able to count down and celebrate.

If you took the trouble to do some research, instead of relying on blind faith, you would discover that "Christianity" has borrowed/stolen a lot from pagan beliefs, rituals, and festivals.

Why *don't* you think it's exciting? It could mean the fate of FOSS!

How could the fate of FOSS hang on the existence of one particular distro?
