Haiku alpha release

Haiku - new web site and alpha release http://www.haiku-os.org/

"What are the minimum hardware requirements to run Haiku?

Haiku will run on a Pentium or better CPU with 64MB of RAM, 500MB of storage space and a VESA compliant video card. However, for a satisfactory user experience, we recommend at least a Pentium III with 256MB of RAM and 2GB of storage space."

Looks like a natural for older hardware. I remember playing around with Beos 5 a few years ago and Haiku is said to have a few similarities.

BeOS was a cool OS. This one looks promising.

I have been wondering about Haiku a while back, but it just seems that its progression is painfully slow. I would like to try it out, but I might forget/lose interest due to it's progress, or lack there of. Same with ReactOS.
