Angry Grrr Diamond Micronics Motherboard BIOS

Im stuck with a Diamond Micronics C200 Motherboard (ALi Aladdin 5 Chipset), which seems to be working in itself. BUT, Ive just bought a New 132.5 Gig HDD, which isnt recognised by the CMOS (it just hangs on dectection). The cable position and everything are set right, so I guess I need a new BIOS Upgrade. This was pretty straightfoward when i needed to upgrade my ABIT board, I just went to the support on ABIT. But, this being Diamond, the site is empty ( www . diamondmm . com ) apart from yet another statement of a takover. And all the links to the bios update files i can find are now dead. Sooo, does ne1 know if/how I can access the diamond support files? Or does ne1 know where I can get an update for the Bios: 11/25/1998-ALADDIN5-2A5KKG5CC-00 ? thanks dudes

Some of the old motherboards don't support really big hard drives. That might be your problem.

Hwody there, I know this is an old thread, but maybe your still watching it. Someone was very nice to me last night and found a bios upgrade for the exact same board you have. and here's a link to it for you.
