GRE for Computer Science (advice/tips/hints)

Hi.

I just graduated in May with a B.S. in Computer Science.
I wanted to take a year off and work before I went back to graduate school. However, with the economy and job market.... this may not happen. So, in the meantime I want to start practicing for the GRE.
I did a search and so far I found a practice book from [ http://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/GRE/pdf/CompSci.pdf ].
As well as the exam outline from [ http://www.ets.org/portal/site/ets/m...0022f95190RCRD ]

Does anyone have any more details about the exam?
Or any other practice books or general advice/tips that would help out?

It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Have you thought about not waiting for someone to hire you?
If you learned anything you should be able to start selling your skills.

Contractor insurance is cheap, and if you market yourself right you can sustain yourself.

I dunno if you've noticed, but there's a lot more to a computer than most companies will allow you to make money off of. Just food for thought, my friend =)

ETA - The significance of this post is that experience is, generally, the best teacher. An employer would like to see what you're capable of, and in my experience, a portfolio of homebrew projects goes a long way. (ASSUMING OF COURSE, that you do a good job... otherwise it might be the worst decision you ever made, but atleast you're being honest about what you can do.)

I'm actually stuck in between the two. I am working towards both at the time being; that being waiting for someone to hire and doing small side jobs. But this is the first I've heard of contractor's insurance. I'll look into that.

It's good stuff. For around 50$ a month you can get around 1 million dollars of coverage for damage to property and failure to render services.

Do read up on it, though. It's not quite that simple.
