As I get older. I find my 6 foot 7 inch body has reached certain limitations.

Like how many drinks a body can stand . Mine are now fewer.

Learned long ago to tell the bottle I was gonna pick it up. It was not gonna tell me.

My vote was, I drink what ever the hell I want. When I want. < my poll interpretation >
Last beer was months ago.
Next beer should be starting next week end after this weekend.
Maybe some Jagermeister or Hot Damn to boot.
Lots of good eating.

Weed is always there. I like to control things. My body when it was prime. Was a wondrous Cossack drinking machine. Now. Not soo much.

EDIT : I am a happy drunk. Not a mean drunk.

Just read an article about cancer. There are a number of things that contribute or have a connection. Booze is one. I don't drink but I do use sugar and that was on the list.

Used to be a chemist (not a pharmacist, but a bad hair, detailed plans to take over the world on the computer, doomsday devices* in the garage scientist). Never worked with breathalysers, but I had an interest in chemical sensors (which became personal when I found I'm diabetic).

The definition of drug I use is the one in Wikipedia:
Quote:
any man-made, natural, or endogenous (from within the body) molecule which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on the cell, tissue, organ, or organism
which includes things like water.

Don't you remember? You got the job, you're the new CEO.

*Several, then even if I had to give one away I'd still be feared.

Fair enough - I'm not disagreeing with you.

Then I'll give everyone the next week off, as I'm still getting over my hangover...

There's a comedian who does a routine about that. He said he invited them over for Christmas one year and gave them snow shovels. He then had them shovel his driveway to see what they'd won. On the driveway he had written:
"Sorry. Try again."

I haven't drank since 1996 and did it on my own. I can't stand AA and don't buy into their 12 Step Programming. That's exactly what it is because I'm that kind of Programmer and know Programming of people it when I see it.

I only wish I had stopped sooner. It would have saved me a lot of headache, trouble and hard times.
