GNU-Darwin?

I am curious to know if anyone has tried out Gnu's version of Darwin for x86 platforms. If anyone has, does it come with a GUI, or does it only run in console mode currently?

What is the GUI called for Darwin? Finder? I thought I read that somewhere. Does anyone know if anyone is working porting it to Linux?

Edit: If anyone is interested in looking at Darwin on x86, check out this site.

More than likely, the GUI will just be XFree (If it comes with any at all). Only Apple can legally release aqua (The nice pretty OSX look)

Not that it helps alot, but a few links off from that:

Actually has A LOT of links, but one of them surely discusses the GUI ;)

Cool

Artimus- Oh, I only thought that aqua was the name of the look or "theme" for their interface. Is it really the name of the whole graphical environment/framework?

I want to buy an Apple :)
