FTP Server problem

Hi

I recently setup a home ftp server so my friends can access my files.

As ftp server I'm using "Home Ftp Server".

My computer works behind a broadband Router.

I have a dnydns account which works fine.

Ok, now: The server is up and running.

When I open my address in Explorer I get my Routers interface....

This happens when I use it with http:// in front.

But when I try "ftp://userass@mydomain.net" I get a message telling my I don't have access.

On the other hand, when loggon as "ftp://userass@localhost" I get in.

I think the problem is related to my router: Peabird ADSL MODEL ROUTER,
there isn't really a label called "port forwarding".

Everything else works but I think my router doesn't forward the requests to my server.

Any help?

In your "Routers interface", isn't there a setting for routing incoming ports 20 and 21 to the same ports on your machine on the local network?

Yes, there is an option called "Static Routing Table Entries"

It asks for:

Destination Ip address
Ip Subnet Mask
Gateway Ip Address
Metric
