Friends name on Facebook/Messenger not right for a month now

This isn't a Linux problem, but I am curious if anyone has experienced this on Facebook/Messenger.

Only *ONE* friend/family member's name is not showing up properly on facebook/messenger.
His real name is "<redacted>" as you can see on the 2nd screenshot attached - at the top (in 2nd screenshot) you see his name correctly as <redacted>, but on the bottom of the same screen you see his name as showing up as "Nikki f CDssoy of j upiszlfyto see nyd loo"

I have reported this to facebook several times over the past month, but no replies or fix has come my way. Just curious if anyone has ever come across such a glitch....

Two attachments.

You should really remove the names of all those people from those screenshots.
In many countries, you have done something unlawful by putting this openly up on the WWW.
People have a right to privacy.

Facebook has bigger things to worry about than an incorrect name. You'll likely never hear from them.

Are you sure your friend's account wasn't hacked? Maybe try unfriending and friending again and see if that helps.
