Found this rather interesting article....

I was at school sitting around being bored and having to make a powerpoint presentation (how challengingly w00t). Anyway, while I was browing for articles to read I stumbled across this It was pretty interesting I guess. Thought I might aswell share it.

I also found an article about Windows security which was quite interesting too. Cannot find the exact url though. The basic jist was that people who use Windows want ease of use and a 'good' graphical interface before security issues. Where as Linux users want Security and to have 100% control over there systems then a pretty face. Also it was saying people who always rant on about Windows insecurity are doing the old blame the victim. There explination was that computers are like a home. Windows is like a little cottage with lots of windows and doors and a light atmosphere and sure its easier to break into but you don't want to live in Linux do you? The same cottage but with no windows and one volt door at the front. Sure its secure but is that REALLY the way you want to live? I'm a bit easier on Windows now that I've read that article. Makes sence. I suppose if it wasn't for Windows the web wouldn't be such a big network because people like my mum would have no idea how to use because Windows is an eternal strugle for them. I say Well done Bill you've managed to create an OS for the people who can't do sh*t for sh*t. Sure its a big insecure but at least pretty much anyone can use it. I guess this doesn't really have a point just for you to sit and ponder for a while.

Not really

I saw the original report a while back about mi2g. That was the worst it had ever been and most of the attacks where not sucessful. Just people sniffing for open ports and such.

Mi2g is also pro M$ big time, really big time. I'm sure they worked hard to get those numbers crunched to get that report and so did the reporter that originally wrote the article.

Lies only get bigger and truths only get smaller. Made that up myself.

Later

:D :D :D
