I recently downloaded and installed Fluxbox on my computer. I am running SuSE 9.0 pro and my questions are as follows?
Is it possible to use fluxbox as my window manager in gnome, and if so, how do I go about setting this up?
and secondly, how can I add fluxbox to the list of options at the login screen (I am using the one that SuSE uses by default, I am not sure of it's name)?

I may not be much accurate since I'm currently connected from windows for some weird reason, but it probably works. Login as root and open YAST. There's some part in it called "Login Manager", and there there's the list of the wm's available in the graphical login screen. Just type fluxbox in the box beside the list and add it to the list.
