feeling stupid, cant find thread.

ok, im feeling like an idiot but here goes,

a few months ago i started a thread about using c++ classes in a dynamic library, there were no answers but a few hours later i found the answer in a linuxjournal article. yesterday i got an email from someone who had found my thread(not a lq member) and was having a similar problem so i sent a link to the article. anyway today i thought i would update that thread with the link but i cant find the thread!!

How did you search? Did you click on the 'user cp' button above and look through the threads you were involved with?

i clicked my profile button, then on 'view threads started by this user', its not there, although im sure i started the thread myself, i have looked through the list of all threads ive posted in but i cant find it. i'll email the person who found it and ask for a link.

Are you referring to this thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=85995

Only thread I found closely resembling what your looking for that is started by you. A quick search on only your user name and the word "dynamic" found it....

What are you doing on other Linux boards anyways.. ? There should be no need for that... as this is the best forum you know.. :p

And nope, we don't close threads, only under extreme occurances or the such...

to be honest, when i first started reading this forum it was a bit too newbie-ish(no offence meant to anyone) for me, but after i spent a while here i discovered that there were also a lot of very knowledgeable people here to, it just took me a while to discover that.

well lets just let it go quietly into the background then before everyone comes on later and sees how stupid i am.

im 2 lazy to use other boards, i'll post somewhere else, and forget to go check the reponses. mainly i do that when it comes to programming issues.
