favorite dead tree linux publication...
Which Linux magazines do you like/buy? It would also be interesting to find out why people prefer one to another.

I like Linux Format, because it seems to be more centered around newbies and beginners. It also comes with software! It is pretty expensive though in the states.
Linux Magazine is good also because it has many news articles that have popped up in Linux and MicroCraps world, as well as have articles on many advanced features of Linux. Besides those two, I dont think there are any otehrs I read/buy. |
It's not easy to get anything other than Linux Format in the UK. There is also a mag here called Linux Magazine, but I found it...erm...lacking.

I enjoy reading Linux Journal, even though it sells off newstand for $7an issue here in New York, the subscription is a right deal, saves me around $4 per issue, so I have a gap to fill with another linux related magazine. I've heard of Linux Format, but unfortunately I haven't seen it on the newstands over here to try it out and maybe to give my mail-box another bomber to hold.

Neo,
I have only seen Linux Format at big booksellers, such as Borders and Barnes and Noble, if you are interested. |
Linux Format is my fav here in UK. I have even subscribed to it (DVD edition).

You know what I miss? Maximum Linux. I think they went under. :(
