Also, please vet your hyperlinks. For example, that "The Other Ban" link grinds predictably-and-repetitively up to the point where it makes its sales-pitch for some book or another. (Complete with a "drop-from-the-ceiling with a bounce" JavaScript effect.)

That's just advertising, whether you ground all the way down to the bottom of the page or not. Please avoid posting such links. (We get far too many of them already ...)

I don't mind if someone who has something to say also has a product to sell ... as long as, in the post itself, it actually has something to say. (Frankly, most posts don't. The very best posts can be found in only one place: LQ!) Use your best judgment, please.

HHHHHMMMMM, interesting, we got 1 hall monitor going "shame on you" (ban me, see if I care, nobody wants to hear the truth any way) and somebody not liking a source and that's it. Not one rebuttal of the facts at all.

And as far as that source goes: I didn't even know it had all that crap. If you run a *secure* browser you don't get all of that. And just b/c they are selling stuff does not mean they are wrong. I'm not going to waste the time posting a thousand links for you. Google "war on cash" and start reading. TL;DR, it ain't being done to stop bad guys, it's just another day in the matrix and another form of control.

A family friend posted this on facebook:

When her grandfather emigrated here from Hungary circa 1900 he had to have:
1) A Sponsor
2) An address where he and his family would be living
3) A job already waiting
4) At least some money in his pocket (He had $12, after inflation equivalent to about $240 in today's money)
5) Was not "allowed to be a burden"
6) Was expected to learn english

Obviously after jumping through all those hoops he had done his paperwork, came here legally and was registered to pay his taxes.

To him and his I say; welcome to America, brother.

But, hey, we should just let *everybody* in. (Am I the only one here who knows the fable of the scorpion and the toad?)

20 'Vetted' Refugees Who Turned to Terrorism After Being Allowed Into America

FLASHBACK Obama Era: 26 Islamic Terrorist Attack Plots by Immigrants and Refugees

But hey, Donnie was just following through on what Obumer started:

Obama’s administration made the “Muslim ban” possible and the media won’t tell you

And I didn't see y'all puking all over yourselves when your Lord and Saviour set this ball in motion!

And, I don't see any of you jumping on a plane to go protest Kuwait:

Trump's Muslim ban is old news in Kuwait

So, let me get this right? A country that is 99.999998% muslim doesn't want these yahoo's either b/c folks from those places are just too dangerous to deal with, but we are the big, bad, mean, evil meanies and Trump should fry in hell for enforcing Obama's ban list?

Wait, run that by me again?

Tulsi Gabbard for president!

Trump and Saudi Arabia are discussing safe zones for Al Nusra. Obama murdered a 16 year old American boy and Trump just murdered his American 8 year old sister but that is supposed to be okay because their dead dad was a "bad guy." US citizenship and being a minor can't even save you from an imperial president. I'm concerned that Trump will not make peace with Russia because of his eagerness to please terrorist sponsoring states in the Middle East and his desire to entire a quagmire against Iran. The western world would march in step with Hillary Clinton but Trump, if they did it at all it would be with their nose held. Trump is seriously doing damage to the American Empire brand and for that the world should be grateful, especially the American people. Trump hears the sirens call to Tehran and his own quagmire. The ban is xenophobia like the war on terror (which makes absolutely no sense beyond Afghanistan). The ban failed to ban countries where the few terrorist that did attack the US did come from. The list looks more like a Saudi/Israeli/US hit list instead. I want the imperial presidency to be reigned in so I hope the backlash leads to a rethink of presidential power and better American foreign policy. The ban pales in comparison to the horrible things the US has done to Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen.

Well I guess my brain is not messed up too badly. I still can't understand most of the stuff you say.

Sorry, your reality is not my reality. Your reality sounds like it hurts too much to carry around. I am not a masochist.

Some other realities.

http://www.dhhr.wv.gov/oeps/cancer/d...rfactsheet.pdf

Seems you like to ignore real peoples problems and just focus on ideals/miss-direction.

Which I find surprising. knowing your health conditions.

I guess some folks are incapable of empathy.

OK rok, I have no idea where you're going with this. The NYT article is behind a pay wall and IDK what a cancer cluster has to do with anything.

What I am posting has nothing to do with me being misdirected or lacking empathy.

I posted links to factual events. I have not seen you or anyone else refute the facts in question. *Prove* me wrong. Other than that one conservative black sheriff in Wisconsin(?) whose name I can't remember (and don't give me crap about that, I have a problem remembering everyones name), link me to even one prominent black leader telling their constituency that the answer is to not demonize white people, but rather to work with them.

And, as I have said in other posts, and will repeat as often as necessary: Yes, we need to help everyone that we can *without destroying our homeland in the process*. Period. Charity begins at home dude. I am always going to see that me and mine are fed first. If I have leftovers I will be more than glad to share. But I'm not going to starve so that you or anyone else can eat. And I'm not going to stand idly by as some, any, no matter how many or how few, attack me as a person or attack the way of life that I hold dear; which includes you having the room to have what I think are some really backwards ideas. I just hope you don't wake up as somebodies lunch b/c your heart went out to them and you dropped your guard.

-----------

Edit:

On proving me wrong, link me to even one prominent muslim leader calling for his followers to work with america to solve our mutual problems. I guarantee you that even if you can come up with a handful proselytizing peace I can come back with thousands saying that I and my way of life need to be destroyed.
