Drupal WYSIWYG editor with <code> ?

I've recently installed Drupal on a webserver.

Is there a editor that will let me easily insert source code into my posts?

I'd love something like Google Sites has, where there is a "code" format, and a "block code" format so I can easily enter small snippets of code in my posts.

I've tried a few of the editors but none of them seem to have what I'm looking for. Google searches seem to give me answers about editors that let me edit the source code of the post I'm making, which is not what I want.

The drupal default "add content" page says

"Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd>"

Is that not enough ?

It works for now, but I'd rather have it in the WYSIWYG editor to help with long posts. I'd especially like the blockcode thing.

I found it rather useful for writing up quick tutorials on things, but I guess if you want something, sometimes you have to implement it yourself. Perhaps I'll get around to it later this year.
