Doubts about the HR departments that require knowledge of technology that does not exist.

Please see this job opportunity:

Is written in job opportunity:

Position: Java Python Developer: https://68.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m...58yo1_1280.png

This post international is proof that no matter the place in the world, always will exist an HR department to invent new things. In this time, they invented a language called Java Python. I hope it pulls to Python, if not ...

Why no matter the place in the world, always will exist an HR department to invent new things?

I posted this topic because I need to be well informed about the internationals opportunities of IT job to not deliver my CV to the HR departments that require knowledge of technology that does not exist.

Java and Python do exist, but does not exist Java Python.

The following job opportunity in Brazil requires experience in programming Batman: http://78.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8...v58yo1_500.png

Developer Junior Batman? So it is Robin, Batman is Senior!

Is it not very strange an HR department to require knowledge of technology that does not exist?

English is not perfectly spoken around the world. It's pretty obvious what they're looking for, imo.

If I looked for a Network Programmer, does that mean that there is a language called "Network"?

"BAM!" "ZOWIE!" "Holy programming, Batman!"

... ahh, that's still the only "Batman" program that I really enjoyed. That, and maybe the "Lego®" version. Batman simply walks out of a fuming tank of "acid" because he had the foresight to put on his acid-proof underwear! (No, I'm not kidding ... what a man, what a man.)

Anyhow: This list of programming-language names is by no means complete.

Unfortunately, in most countries, one way or the other "you have to put up with the HR department." Their job is to keep the company from being sued (again). Remember also that they simply stuff your Microsoft Word® document into a software system that basically acts as a search-engine. Be sure that all of the necessary keywords are there, and hope for the best.

Unless you've had the misfortune of being on the receiving end of "a public job offer," you will not appreciate the sheer number of resumes that will come pouring in, every single day ... or, that so many of them are pure-junk. ("Spam" resumes? Uh huh.) So, you've basically got five seconds. I'm gonna read the first two lines. I want to see in that one glance that you actually understand what I'm looking for, that you are and have been faithful in your work, and that I can hope to rely on you well past the time it will take to bring you up-to-speed on the crazy things that we're doing around here.

And, please do be nice to the HR people: they were really bad in their last life, so they're doing penance in this one.
